Since 2005, any registered voter can vote early beginning 22 days prior to an election through the Thursday before Election Day. A convenient early voting center in your area, in addition to the County Building in Waukegan, will offer early voting beginning January 14 through the close of business on January 31, 2008. Visit www.co.lake.il.us/cntyclk and use the “Quick Links” to locate your early voting site, to print driving directions and a map.

Where’s my Election Day Voting Site?
Our website  www.co.lake.il.us/cntyclk has a "Quick Links" section to "Where's My Voting Site?" which offers pictures, directions and a map from your home to your voting site.

What’s on my Ballot?

Sample ballots will be available at www.co.lake.il.us/cntyclk at the start of absentee voting by clicking on “What’s on My Ballot?” (found under the “Quick Links” section).  The user is prompted to key in their legal address of registration to view their specific ballot. Referencing the address on one’s voter card is the simplest way to do this.
