I'm proud to
have served on
the Governance Board of the
Route 120 Corridor Planning
Council since it's inception in
2005. The Governance Board serves
as the policy and
decision-making body of the
Route 120 CPC. Members include
Mayors of Communities within the
corridor and County Board
Members in impacted Board
Districts.
The Route 120
Corridor Planning Council (CPC)
is a collaborative effort
between 10 Communities and Lake
County to address one of the
highest priority needs in the
county – the Route 120 Corridor.
An improved Route 120 will
provide a much needed east-west
corridor across Lake County and
was identified as the number one
priority at the Lake County
Transportation Summit held in
September, 2005.
The Route 120 CPC consists of
the Governance Board and four
advisory task forces composed of
volunteer professionals
including engineers, planners,
mapping experts, village and
city managers, environmental
experts, and public relations
specialists. |
